Columns of Dreams during the Beverly Art Walk

The series of light sculptures, Columns of Dreams, was on display at Trinity United Methodist Church, 9848 S. Winchester, Chicago, during the Studio Tour and the Beverly Art Walk which took place in September. I was honored to be requested to install these pieces for the year’s premier art event of the south side of Chicago.

Trinity is one of the most beautiful churches on Chicago’s south side. The Gothic architecture seems out of place in this forested area. The very high domed ceiling allows for the display of magnificent stained-glass windows. The church itself is grand, but also small enough to be very personal.

Further information about the Columns can be found on this website’s art gallery. Also there is a YouTube video about this installation which can be found in the video library.
