250,000 euros allocated to improvements at my boulder installation

Today’s news from the city of Marijampole, Lithuania, website:

“Varnupiai Sacred Mound (piliakalnis) will become more open to visitors. We approved the project, which will allow the installation of a ramp, a walking path, a grill area, a gazebo, updating information signs and installing a bio-toilet. The value of the project is 250,000 euros.”

“We are glad that step-by-step we are creating a more comfortable, modern and attractive Marijampole!”

This project started four years ago. Last year we finished placing the final boulder of a total of 251. The city of Marijampole has now allocated 250,000 euros to improve this site so that it would be possible to host major events at this location.

Major progress is taking place!

With much thanks to the administrative staff of Marijampole.
