Blue Consciousness at the Vilnius Book Fair

 Vilnius Book Fair – the largest book fair in the Baltic countries, one of the brightest cultural events in Lithuania. This event, which promotes reading and celebrates it, annually invites visitors from all over Lithuania to meetings with writers, book presentations, discussions, concerts, exhibitions, creative workshops, and other cultural activities. About 300 publishers and other cultural organizations from Lithuania and foreign countries participate in the fair every year, more than 500 various events and concerts take place, and over four days the fair is visited by more than 50,000 visitors.

This fair took place this weekend. Amongst the books on display is “Sliding of Contemporary Literature: Between Memory and Oblivion” by Aurelija Mykolaityte. The cover of this book is my artwork “Blue Consciousness”. Photographs by Aurelija Mykolaityte.
