I have had over 20 years of experience as a medical expert witness in legal cases across the US and Canada. I have relied on my own published clinical results, and those of other international studies, to estimate the life expectancy of neurologically disabled children. The longer a person lives, the more medical expenses will be incurred.
If you provide good medical care, patients will live longer. This seems as obvious as the nose on your face. However, there are plenty of “experts” who appear at trials and argue the opposite.
During these two decades my opinions have provided a great deal of financial support to disabled children and their families. I am very proud of this.
However, this incurred the ongoing wrath of the insurance companies. This is a half-hour discussion of my experiences fighting off 20 years of incessant attacks. It was aired today on the Lithuanian Komentaras TV. The YouTube video, in Lithuanian, can be accessed by clicking HERE.
