Cook Children’s Medical Center is a not-for-profit pediatric hospital located in Fort Worth, Texas. It is one of the largest freestanding pediatric medical centers in the U.S. with over 1 million patient encounters each year. Cook Children’s 430-bed medical center includes a level IV neonatal intensive care unit and its emergency department sees over 120,000 patients each year. The hospital provides comprehensive pediatric specialties and subspecialties throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth metro region.
The NeuroArt exhibit project was instituted by Dr. Scott Perry, a prominent pediatric neurologist and the Medical Director of Neurosciences at this Center. I was honored to be among nine artists who are exhibiting their artworks in this program. Further information about this program and an interview with myself can be found HERE. Dr. Perry’s explanation is available in a four minute YouTube video HERE.
