The June 24, 2026 issue of the Marijampole newspaper Suvalkietis carried this article about a children’s art exhibit in Antanavas, Lithuania. It was an honor to be invited to comment about the artworks of these young artists. It was quite surprising, and moving to me, to have several of the children paint the chapel located at the Plioplys Cemetery, in the Plioplys Village. This is where many of my relatives are buried, including my gandfather, Motiejus Plioplys. The full article can be found in my Instagram posting from today.
