I was incredibly honored to be included in the “Anniversary exhibit of the most famous artists of Sūduva”. The Sūduva cultural region (also called Suvalkija) is located in Lithuania’s southwest. Its unofficial capital is Marijampolė and it spans 7,400 square kilometers south of the Nemunas River.
Recently, I was able to visit the Marijampole Cultural Center and see this historic and impressive show. A one-minute YouTube video summarizes this exhibit and can be accessed HERE. The exhibit itself will be up until the end of May, 2027.
With sincere thanks to Onute Surdokiene who organized this impressive display.
