Suspension of Thought

In 1993 I returned to developing further visual and verbal metaphors of the thought process. The form that this has taken is that of words, thoughts and memories directly applied to photographs.

The premier showing of this series of works took place at Artemisia Gallery, Chicago, January 30 through February 24, 1996. Since then, these works have been shown in many exhibits across the US and internationally, and have won many awards.

These visual media investigations into thinking and the thought process, particularly from my own neurologic clinical and research perspectives, are unique in the history of art.
